MY Voice  - harmony starts with us aims to:

​

1.   Achieve NSW State Government assistance to reduce       the prevalence of extremist radicalisation online through the use of a targeted strategy

​

2.   Influence the future direction of countering violent extremism programs through the development of greater consultation

​

3.   Increase investment from the NSW Government in programs to build social inclusion amongst Muslim youth.

 

MY Voice is about social cohesion, unity and respect. Our campaign works to ensure that our diverse, vibrant and resilient Muslim youth of Australia can articulate their voices in policies that affect them.

 

We have identified clear aims that together we can:

 

• Encourage Muslim Youth to have a voice themselves – to build the MY Voice social media presence to create a sense of a harmonious online community.

• Encourage everyday Australians from all communities to join this conversation grounded in social cohesion and unity, and find their voice as part of this influencing coalition

• Encourage companies and organisations to have a voice within their communities and to form part of the influencing coalition.

• Provide a platform to support ongoing conversations and opportunities to support Muslim youth and the communities they belong to

• Enable connections to develop within the community to support Muslim youth.
